Welcome aboard the Lazy Livin’

This vintage, 1971 Hatteras motor yacht was built in High Point, North Carolina, an area known for its thriving furniture industry. She sports the original teak and mahogany interior details characteristic of Hatteras Yachts from that era and is now based in the home port of Beaufort, North Carolina.

While the Lazy Livin’ maintains her vintage charm, she has been fully refurbished to include the conveniences and equipment found on modern luxury yachts today including a full solar array, massive battery storage, backup power generation and new navigation instruments.

Aesthetic updates have been made carefully to compliment the classical woodwork that Hatteras Yachts are known for. With comfortable seating areas on the sunny forward deck, in the shade of the aft deck, or down below in the salon, there are plenty of spaces to relax. Luxury is in the details with thoughtfully curated interior features including a white leather settee, wine cooler, exotic granite countertops and mother of pearl mosaic showers.

Our Captain, Monty Groff, holds a 100-Ton Master Captain’s license and has been boating on the waters of the Crystal Coast for over 20 years. He’s also quick with a joke, but don’t believe all of his tall tales.

We are proud to have been featured in Our State magazine!
